*Any length exceeding these word limit will weigh against selection
Fourm vs. Review
Forum
Forum pieces are generally shorter, timelier, and more accessible to a general audience than other review-style articles
Review
A Review piece critically engages with existing legal research or literature, often synthesizing key findings, evaluating methodologies, and offering insights or critiques. It provides an overview of a specific topic while also contributing to scholarly conversations by identifying gaps, posing new questions, or suggesting future directions for research.
Electronic Submissions
We encourage contributors to submit manuscripts as Microsoft Word documents through email. Please email legalj@princeton.edu with the subject line “Guest Contribution: [Name, Title, Article Type].” Please specify if you are submitting your piece for publication in the Forum or the Review.
CITATIONS
Please use footnotes that conform to the 21st edition of the Bluebook citation format.
