The Princeton Legal Journal accepts applications from Princeton University undergraduates interested in contributing impactfully to legal thought and discourse. Applications are open at the start of the Fall and Spring semesters.



Fall 2025 Application Cycle
The Princeton Legal Journal is currently accepting applications from members of the Princeton community to join its team of staff writers team. Previous legal experience is not required, but successful applicants will demonstrate a compelling interest in legal topics, a strong track record of writing excellence, and the ability to think critically. Successful applicants will be expected to write no less than one article per semester. Full Staff Writer membership in the Princeton Legal Journal is conditional on the successful publication of at least one article in the semester in which you were accepted.
Interested students can apply here. The deadline for submission is 11:59 PM on Sunday, September 21st.
